Jaanvi felt like she was caught in a whirlwind of confusion. What exactly had happened yesterday? Did Ayaansh really say what she thought he did? Everything felt like a blur — too fast, too unexpected. She couldn't seem to wrap her head around any of it, and the more she tried to make sense of it all, the more it slipped through her fingers.

For the time being and for the sake of her own sanity, she decided to set aside thoughts of Ayaansh and his words.  She needed clarity, and that would only come by focusing on the more pressing issue at hand: the situation at her workplace.
